Return it to the office along with your full current C.V., 10-15 examples of your work on CD-ROM or DVD . You must include a SAE if you wish to have your supporting visual material returned. We also offer the opportunity for you to apply online for which you can email your images to info@florencetrust.org in PDF or Powerpoint format. Alternatively, specify 10-15 images for consideration if you have your own website.
It should be noted that we encourage a genuine diversity amongst our artists. Applications from those artists working across different media and established collaborations are welcome alongside individual artists.
We require an application fee of £10 to cover our administration costs by any of the following methods:
1) Cheques or Post Office Money Orders in pounds sterling are to be made payable to the Florence Trust Studios and should accompany your application or be posted separately if you are applying online.
2) Payment by bank transfer: Lloyds TSB, Account name: Florence Trust, Account Number: 00743994, Sort code: 30 00 08. If payment is not from an account in your own name, please ensure you include your name as a reference.
3) The fee can also be transferred using Paypal to the account: info@florencetrust.org
You can apply at any time to join us for the forthcoming year. However, if you are coming from overseas or from outside London, it is especially important to apply as early as possible thus enabling you to have sufficient time to plan the logistics of moving to London. If you do apply early you may well be interviewed and offered a place with us before our deadline of May 30th. For suitable candidates we are able to provide letters of support for funding applications. This year we hope to offer a bursary for a painter in honour of the Florence Trust founder Patrick Hamilton and to celebrate the Trust's 20th Anniversary. All applications from painters will automatically be considered for this award.
