Bursaries
It is a long term goal of the Florence Trust to be able to offer Bursaries to especially talented artists. We are currently developing a Friends of the Florence Trust bursary which we hope to offer in the not so distant future.
FT11 Painting Bursary
We hope to offer a painter a bursary for the next FT residency. All applications from painters will automatically be considered for this bursary.

Due to the generous support of The Fenton Arts Trust we have been able to offer The Fenton Arts Trust Artist Bursary for an emerging British artist for the last three years. Rebecca Mears received the bursary in 2008; Matthew Atkinson in 2009 and the FT10 recipient of this award is Maurice Citron.
For the FT11 residency starting August 2010, we are delighted to announce the first MAstars Award. AXIS, the online resource for contemporary art, will provide a rent-free studio for an artist selected through their MAstars scheme. For further information, please see: www.axisweb.org/mastarsaward
Please note that the MAstars Award is by invitation only; the Florence Trust continues to seek funding for open application bursaries that will publicised here when confirmed.
We are always available to artists to suggest possible avenues of funding and support external to the Florence Trust, and are happy to provide letters of support for artist applications to those institutions.
