Statement
Opening: Friday 6th July 6.30 - 9.00 pm
An eclectic group of artists were selected in June 2006 for the FT07 Residency.
They were:
The last 12 months have brought forth many achievements for the FT07 artists. They have participated in solo and group exhibitions both in London and further afield, and created commissions and sold work to various public and private collections. Collette Brannigan and Elle Pickering participated in The Inspired Art Fair, Jessica Tsang was short listed for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries and William Clifford was short listed for the Jerwood Sculpture Prize.
The work in the exhibition spans sculpture and installation, video and photography, painting and performance. There is a real engagement with architectural concerns and this combined with the stunning interior of the Church has lead to a series of ambitious site specific works, shown alongside a selection of work completed during the residency.
