Florence Trust

Each year, the Florence Trust selects up to twelve of the most exciting emerging contemporary artists to develop their practice over a 12 month period in its inspiring studio programme. The Trust offers an experience well beyond the normal provision of studio space with access to artist networks, individual career support and opportunities, culminating in an end of residency exhibition and catalogue.

The Open Studios marks the halfway point of this residency and provides an excellent opportunity to meet the artists and see their work in progress. With the generous support of The Fenton Arts Trust, this year marks the first artist bursary, which was awarded to Rebecca Mears, by Dr Stephen Morris, Chair of The Fenton Arts Trust at the Open Studios Private View.
