Concretescape is a firm taking contracts for building smooth floors for your homes, offices, and open areas. Concrete scape is a popular term for laying the concrete floor on uneven landscapes, making them smooth.

The email is a scam. @Concretescape on Facebook confirmed on 6th-October-2022 that their email was hacked and an unknown scammer had circulated the invoice.

On 4th-October-2022, an email was circulated in the USA and Australia informing the users that they needed to pay the due amount mentioned in the Concretescape invoice.

About the Concrete Escape Shawn Muir:

Shawn Muir is a Concreter at Concretescape. His @shawn-muir-1863aa241 LinkedIn profile showed that he is a Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand resident. 

His links with the Concretescape email scam are unconfirmed. The news about Shawn Muir’s escape is unconfirmed as Concretescape firm did not report Shawn missing/escaping. 

About the Concretescape email scam:

A student and reddit user – @iceivial, reported receiving such an email on the student email account. The email subject was “Invoice for Concretescape.” The email contained an attachment with an icon of the internet browser. 

There was no text content in the body of the email. The Concretescape Scam attachment was a ‘.html’ file. Such file extensions come with ‘href’ hyperlinks, redirecting you to scamming websites or intended web pages.

Few malware and anti-virus companies analyzed Concretescape.eml. The email was from x4l40mzu7qx9@chartwellstaff.com with the alias Concretescape. The email icon was related to Windows Outlook. However, the email did not have any malware.

Conclusion:

The email form Concretescape with the subject “Invoice for Concretescape” contains no text, but a .html attachment is a Scam. Concretescape is aware of such emails getting circulated as their email account was hacked. Concretescape FB pages specified their email as concretescape.chch@gmail.com. However, the Concretescape Scam email is from a different sender. The website to which the .html file spoofed the users is unknown.
